Food Chain Definition Science

Food Chain is a diagram that shows how food energy steps from one creature to other in a given environment. Food energy moves along the food chain when one creature eats another. Ecology, a series of organisms correlative in their feeding habits, the smallest being fed above by a more one, that in turn feeds a still larger one, etc. The connotation of a food chain is a method where a small animal is the food for a larger animal which, Severally, is the food for an even larger animal.Every living thing needs energy in command to live. Every time animals do anything  they use energy to do so.Animals get energy from the food they eat, and all living things get energy from food. Plants usage sunlight, water and nutrients to get energy (in a process called photosynthesis). Energy is required for living beings to grow.A food chain shows how every living thing gets food, and how nutrients and energy are passed from organism to creature. Food chains begin with plant-life and end with animal-life. Some animals eat plants, some animals eat another animals.
